During Hurricane Harvey, our founders came together to help Houston as 9 trillion tons of water fell from the sky in just 36 hours. Kimberly Goreham organized "Chiropractic Triage Teams" to adjust first responders and evacuees of this massive storm. Over 8,000 adjustments were provided and the reaction was OVERWHELMINGLY POSITIVE from everyone we touched, especially from the first responders!
The brave men and women we met couldn't believe how much better they felt after an adjustment, some positive words, a big hug and lots of appreciation from our teams. It turns out that the chiropractic industry has a lot in common with first responders.
WE LIVE TO SERVE OTHERS and CONNECT DEEPLY on a HUMAN LEVEL, when people need us MOST.
Our efforts quickly turned into a love fest and the next thing we knew, we were fielding calls from first responders, chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncturists, nutritionists, MDs, wound care specialists, pediatricians, firefighters, veterans, volunteer organizations and so many more. They were asking for our help, asking to help and in general "just wanted to be a part of this movement" in some way.

First Responders know they must keep on going no matter what, because their town is destroyed and their friends are suffering greatly. It's hard to describe the way it feels to look into the eyes of a person who has soot on their face, sadness in their eyes, their body is slumping and its painful to move. We worked with many brave men and women who pushed through the pain during 4 hurricanes and 2 wildfires in 2017. The love first responders have for their communities is unlike anything we have ever witnessed.
When their bodies give out, first responders don't stop. That's why it is AMAZING to bring the tools we need (only our HANDS,) to fire stations, sheriff's offices, community centers, Event HQ, anywhere first responders need us to provide DONATED (FREE) ADJUSTMENTS and MASSAGES. After a 24 hour shift, sleeping in a rig or police car, a good adjustment and chair massage does a body gooood. It helps moral a LOT and it helps first responders to recuperate and get back out there helping the community- stronger, faster and in a better frame of mind.

We currently have Chiropractic First Responder groups in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Texas, Colorado, California and Puerto Rico and it's growing by the day. Yep, we were ASKED by first responders to come along and do what we do. We connect people who are in need of... just the right people, right when they need us the most. It's more than gratifying, it's humbling. It's a change we never saw coming but we embrace the experience with open arms and invite you to join us.

Chiropractic First Responders is a part of a larger mission at work to prepare The U.S.A. for disasters BEFORE they strike. We train regularly with Local and Federal Emergency Management teams to fine tune our response and create strong relationships in the community. We are READY to support first responders before, during and after a disaster strikes.
